Faheem Mobile Application
Business case that needed UX solutions to reach its goals.

Comparative and competitive analysis
To better understand the market and where Faheem stands against its competitors, I conducted a comparative and competitive (C&C) analysis, studying, tracking and analyzing competitors’ movements and behavior. Based on the market research, a future plan was developed with leading advantages for the client and, more importantly, it helped create solutions that fit the current market.
User journey map
A user journey map is a diagram that illustrates the user’s flow through a site or app, from the initial contact or discovery, through engagement, into long-term loyalty and advocacy.

The MoSCoW method
Since the project was short, I had to prioritize the features based on what was most important for the app to be an MVP (minimum viable product).

User flow
I created a user flow for the app’s processes to make sure they are obstacle-free and to reduce every process to the fewest steps required.

First sketches and ideas

Prototyping & testing
Mid-fidelity wireframes are always a good stage to test a design. I tested the app before turning it into a high-fidelity design; once it was finalized, I tested the app’s flow again and fixed the obstacles I found.
The final design
I took the brand guidelines (the brand color) and distributed it through the app. The colors are based on a study of the psychology of color:
- The background is white to give the user a feeling of comfort and increase trust.
- Orange is a motivational color. I used it to motivate users to finish tasks within the app.
Main outtakes
The client’s main issue was a lack of awareness of the surrounding market and competitors. The C&C audit helped me come up with a real solution and a future plan for the business, simply because I understood the market much better. With a small A/B test against the website, I was able to show great results.
